Crochet Rippy Rug

On a recent trip to a 500 acre farm in Minnesota my parents took me and my daughter and sister to see their animals. The Mrs. Farmer has a studio where she weaves rugs out of rags. I was so inspired that I had to make my own rug out of rags using crochet. This is made of some ribbon and some old sheets.

Instruction: Snip the sheet on the edge in line with the grain about 3/4" and rip the full length. Tie to a previous one and crochet a square or rectangle. I just keep the knots on the back. That way, the knots can help sweep up.
